Ed Cosner ~ Portage, Indiana ~ fiddle. Ed began violin lessons at the age of 9. He has evolved into one of the best fiddle players in the area. He has won contests in Illinois, Indiana and Tennessee. Ed has devoted many years to teaching children and adults fiddle tunes and techniques.
Greg Ferguson ~ New Lenox, Illinois ~ guitar. Greg is a talented songwriter and singer and plays a fine rhythm and lead guitar. In addition to working for Caterpillar, he has written songs for them and performs at special events for the company.
Dan Hoehn ~ Lombard, Illinois ~ mandolin and vocal. Dan always gets a laugh from the audience with his humor. His musical ability enhances our performance with his creative style.
Merle Lawson ~ Goodfield, Illinois ~ banjo. Merle has earned the respect of five-string banjo players with his unique picking. Besides his passion for music, he enjoys deer hunting and giving Sterling a hard time.
Jill Stargardt ~ Yorkville, Illinois ~ bass fiddle and vocal. Jill comes from a family of talented musicians. She has a beautiful voice for lead and blends perfect harmony. She teams up with Danny on several songs.
Sterling Wilson ~ Decatur, Illinois ~ guitar and vocal. Sterling is one of the finest rhythm guitar players in Illinois. He also tries to stay one-step ahead of Merle. Sterling's wife, Helen, accompanied him with her lovely voice on their favorite songs for many years. She passed away in 2004, but she will always be with us in spirit.
Our band always has a good time, which is what the music is all about. Over the years, we have become the best of friends.
